About The Program
The Chamber’s Small Business Celebration is entering its thirteenth year in 2017. The goal is to recognize, embrace, and reward what our region is rich with – small businesses. The program begins with a nomination process, which is communicated to the Chamber’s five-county service area. A letter is sent to all nominees informing them of their recent nomination. For those choosing to proceed, an application must be completed to continue. A panel of judges, comprised of community leaders, is formed and those judges begin their process of selecting the Top 10 businesses to be recognized. Events are hosted to highlight and recognize the small businesses in contention for the prestigious Hagerty Small Business of the Year Award.
