The Michigan Association of Realtors Has Announced Commission Cut Requirement!
According to the article released just yesterday “Starting immediately, all licensed real estate agents, and brokers that are members of the Michigan Association are required to change to a locked commission rate of 1% regardless of factors.“
This will bring a huge change to the Michigan Real Estate Industry.  There are some regions of the country that have locked commission rates on real estate transactions, but none in Michigan, and never this low. “We looked at other areas that have done flat rates and saw it as a challenge we needed to beat” Said Sofia King, head of northwestern logistics & supplement allocation for MAR.
